Earth! Don’t be afraid; rejoice and be glad …….
Beasts! Don’t he afraid; the pastures are once again clothed with sweet grass.
The trees are fruitful; fig tree and vine are laden with fruit.Humans! Be glad and rejoice!
The One Who Is has given You teachers of righteousness and has brought the rains in their season, early and late;
your granaries are piled high with grain;
your barrels overflow with wine and oil …….You will eat your fill …….
and you shall know that I am in your midst;
that I am the One Who Is and there is nothing else.
And you will never he ashamed again.——- Joel 2:21-27
Fear drives out joy and invites shame. Awakening to your true self, you have no need to be afraid. Without fear there is no shame. There is only the humble acceptance of your deeds and their consequences. And because you realize that the one begets the other, you are careful to do well by yourself and others so as to set in motion a healing future and not a hurtful one.
